Gabe Rozsa

Gabe Rozsa is a Hungarian environmental lawyer and lobbyist. He is former Managing Director at Prime Policy Group, the lobbying subsidiary of the public relations firm Burson-Marsteller. Mr. Rozsa has served as Chairman of the board at the Kossuth Foundation and is on the board of the Hungarian American Coalition.

Mr. Rozsa was born in Hungary and emigrated to the U.S. in 1956, as a refugee during the Hungarian Revolution. He received a B.A. from the University of Virginia and subsequently a master’s degree in environmental law from George Washington University and a J.D. from Washington University in 1975.

Mr. Rozsa started his career with the Army Corps of Engineers. He then became Environmental Counsel to the Republican staff at the House Science and Technology Committee, and subsequently as Staff Director for the Energy Subcommittee and eventually as Republican Counsel for Water Resources at the United States House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure for nine years.

At Mr. Rozsa’s final station in the public sector, he worked as Assistant Counsel for Legislation at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chief Counsel’s Office.

In between his last two public sector positions, Mr. Rozsa served as Senior Vice President at BKSH & Associates. He then started working at the Prime Policy Group, where he served as a Managing Director.

As part of his lobbying career, he has also been the Washington Representative for the National School Transportation Association (NSTA).

He also has been an adjunct professor at the George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.
